For our second release of our Cask & Release Whiskey we chose Dry Fly Wheat Whiskey Barrels that were used to age Kettlehouse’s Cold Smoke Scotch Style Ale. Once we caught these barrels again we put 3-Year Old Wheat Whiskey back into them for a year. The resulting Whiskey is full bodied with a sweet, slightly smoky edge, flavors of oak spice, caramel and chocolate! A well balanced Whiskey at 90 proof, a little water accentuates the flavors.
